Five on Friday - March 4, 2016

Happy Friday everyone! Hop everyone had a great week! Mine was okay, but this week seemed to drag on - I'm glad it is the weekend!

ONE

This past weekend, some coworkers and I participated in the Polar Plunge! A bunch of Law Enforcement Members in Alberta get together and take the jump to raise money for the Polar Plunge - this year it was sooo cold out! Yikes, but it was for a great cause!

TWO

A group of some of my girlfriends get together once a month for a breakfast or dinner (forced friend time around all of our busy schedules) and we have been doing it for the past couple of years! We each take turns hosting and doing potlucks. We thought it would be a really cute idea to start collecting out recipes and make a recipe book out of it! (seriously, google free downloadable recipe cards are you will be amazed at how many cute ones are out there - I photoshopped the cover for us!)

THREE

EEEeeee!!! I haven't ordered planner stickers for a while! I went a little crazy at the start and am pretty stocked up (but I was running low so I needed to repurchase a few!) The set from Belladiva Designs was a mystery set and there is lots of great ones in there! The bears drinking wine and coffee may be the cutest stickers ever from It's Just Paper Co. and the 2 I got from Once More With Love are amazing!

FOUR

I was accepted for the Lise Watier Glam Sense program and I am so excited to try this little hydration device! The steps for this campaign are quite involved and even have me attending a beauty event next Saturday as part of it! I'm really excited to test this out and will have a full report for you guys at some point when I have had time to test it out!

FIVE

Did you guys watch the Big Brother Canada Season 4 premiere this week? I love Big Brother so I think this will be a fun season!

  1. Your friend potlucks sound fun - I have been thinking I need to organize some friend time - this would be fun. I think the Best of Bridge cookbooks started like this so who knows in time you may be publishing a cookbook or starting a food blog! I love the planner labels - so cute! I should start a planner book - I mostly use the wall calendar at home but its not really handy ...

    1. Thanks Brenda - the potlucks have been going on for a couple of years and we all really loved the time together (sometimes we are all so busy) - I love that a cookbook has been started like that before! And my dayplanner is my lifesaver - I love it!
