October 2015 Topbox Unboxing and Review

TopBox is a Canadian Beauty Box Subscription - for $12 CDN a month with free shipping, you will receive 4 deluxe sample size or full size products. You fill out a beauty profile and generally receive products based on what you have identified in the profile. Also, every month you have the option to wish for a "prive" box, which is a box that focuses on one brand or product for the whole box.

TopBox is a Canadian company and only ships to Canada. The only downside to subscribing to TopBox is that there is a wait-list that can take a month or two to get off of.

For October, I opted for the Shu Uemura Prive Box. Here is a look:

Shu Uemura High Performance Balancing Cleansing Oil Advanced Formula ~ sample size 20 ml for $4.80 (full size is 150 ml for $36). Evolved from the original shu uemura cleansing oil, "Classic" is reformulated with an advanced High Performance Cleansing Oil system for significantly improved removability of waterproof make-up.

I am excited to try this cleansing oil - I love Shu Uemura products and have only tried a few! 

Shu Uemura Porefinist Anti-shine Fresh Cleansing Oil ~ sample size 15 ml for $3.80 (full size is 150 ml for $38). An incredibly lightweight cleansing oil that leaves the skin clean, fresh and refined. With the expertise in cleansing oil for half a century, our beloved fresh formula is powerfully reborn to target the source of oily concerns.

The water-like cleansing oil goes beyond make-up removal to dissolve and wash away excess sebum and blackheads that are stuck inside pores. No pulled or parched. The new formula, with cinnamon bark extract, regulates sebum secretion day after day. Shine is blotted and open pores appear shrunken. Blackheads are removed to reveal a refined, smooth skin.

This one is more for oily skin and acne-prone skin. I will use this for when I am having breakouts!

I like that there is so many types of cleansing oil - I am excited to try all these different kinds!

Topbox prive box came with 3 sample size products with a total value of $13. While this isn't a huge value (essentially it is what I paid for this box), I am happy to try all 3 of the products. I like Shu Uemura and I love cleansing oils! Topbox does usually have a higher value in the regular boxes, but I like the box I selected this month!
