October 2015 Mishibox - K-beauty Subscription Unboxing and Review

Mishibox is a newer Korean Beauty Box subscription based out of the U.S. - their first box shipped in June. I was so excited when they announced that they would be shipping to Canada for August! I obviously signed up right away! It is really great having more k-beauty subscription boxes available in Canada!

Mishibox is described as:
"Our mission at MISHIBOX (pronounced "me-she") is to help you explore the exciting (and sometimes very cute) world of Korean beauty. We want to help you discover your favorite products in a convenient, effortless, and affordable way. We will send you a curated box with a combination of 4 - 6 deluxe-sized samples and full-sized Korean beauty products from a wide range of Korean brands. We are all about finding the best Korean beauty products for you to try from both brands that you already love and the brands that we think you will love."

Mishibox is $19.99 monthly + $5.95 shipping to Canada.

Here is a look at the October Mishibox:

Mishibox always comes in a little pink box and is nicely packaged.

Mishibox always includes a detailed product card:

Here is a closer look at the products inside:

Holika Holika Pig-nose Clear Black Head 3-Step Kit ~ $3.50. ($4 from Mishibox) This is a 3-steps kit perfect for pore control.   The first step opens your pores which allow for removing blackheads easily.  The second step removes blackheads.  The third step to minimize pores.

I have used this before (I received this in a past Mask Genie) and reviewed on an Empties post here. I liked the results, but all 3 steps takes around 45 minutes! I will save it for when I have some time!

SNP Bird's Nest Aqua Ampoule Mask ~ $3. This highly concentrated sheet mask is made from edible Sea Bird's (Swiftlet) Nest Extract to provide moisture, soothing, skin flexibility, and skin vitality benefits.Very nourishing and hydrating, this is a great sheet mask for anyone looking for moisturizing and anti-aging benefits.

I have actually been wanting to try this mask for a while (I have had it saved in an online shopping cart for quite a while!) so I am excited to try this!

Saint Peau Baobab Soft Peeling Gel ~ full size $10. The Baobab peeling gel contains sap of the Baobab tree which is abundant in skin moisturizing components and nutrients that reduce and prevent the look of multiple signs of aging.  Also leaves a hydrating shield to help improve elasticity for healthy skin. Contains 5000 ppm of Baobab extract.

I quite like peeling gels, but I don't use them too often! I have a couple right now, so I am unsure if I am going to save this to use later or pass on!

Enprani Premiercell Skin Softener ~ sample size 50 ml for $18.30 CDN (full size is 150 ml for $54.90 CDN). Recapture your youthful skin with this generously sized miniature of the Enprani Premiercell Skin Softener from Enprani's anti-oxidation and anti-aging Premiercell line. This softener (toner) is ideal for those needing wrinkle care, moisturization, and elasticity.

I have my price listed higher than Mishibox as this was the price I found on a Canadian website. This sounds good - I go through a ton of toners so I am happy to try this!

Enprani Premiercell Emulsion ~ sample size 50 ml for $22.65 CDN (full size is 130 ml for $58.90). Hydrate and nourish your face with this generously sized miniature of the Enprani Premiercell Emulsion also from Enprani's anti-oxidation and anti-aging Premiercell line. This emulsion is great for the transition into the colder autumn weather.

I agree that these are good deluxe size sample products and I like that this is a new brand that I haven't heard of! I am looking forward to trying this too!

Mishibox came with 5 products (3 full size) and a total value of $57.45. This box had a good value and a good variation of products inside.

Mishibox is probably more for people who are just getting started in to k-beauty, but I have been overall very happy with this subscription. I actually thought that I cancelled last month, but this must be my last month! With the exchange rate, it is just too hard too have too many American subscriptions - I will likely resubscribe at some point in time!

Have you tried Mishibox yet? What did you think of this month's box?
