Manicure Monday - Lilac, Gold, and Heart Accents!

Happy Monday everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts last week (I am still waiting for a few September boxes to arrive and it's down to the last 2 days of the month - I am way to impatient!). 

My inspiration for the week is Lilac and Gold glitter!!! 

I love these colors together! 


Here are the products I used this week:

• Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear #270 Lacey Lilac
• Teeez Nail Polish in "Pretty in Pyrite" 
• Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Polish #300 White On
• OPI Top Coat
• Formula X Nail Cleanser and Base Coat
• nail dotting tool 

Here are the steps I followed:

1. Nail Cleanser & Base Coat
2. Paint 2 coats of lilac on three fingers (I saved my middle and ring finger for accent nails)
3. Paint ring finger with two coats of gold glitter
4. Paint middle finger with two coats of white polish
5. Once white polish is dry use the nail dotter & gold polish to create a heart. Use this post for a reference on how to create a heart.   
6. I used the the dotting tool to create little dots around the heart in lilac.
7. Base coat
