Manicure Monday - Hearts, Stripes, and Glitter!

I love my Sunday nights watching Game of Thrones and painting my nails! 

Here are the products I used:

Formula X nail cleanser, base coat and top coat/ Color Club purple (not sure the actual name) / Essie in hors d'oeuvres/ Joe in Cloud (light grey for under the glitter) and a basic white and nail art silver glitter (for the slim brush). I also used a nail dotting tool (if you don't have these go on ebay for a pack of 5 its like $2 with free shipping - so worth it!) I also used a toothpick to help with the hearts!

This was actually so easy to do!! 
1. Nail cleanser and base coat!!

2. Two coats of purple polish on thumb, pointer finger and pinky. 1 coat of light grey on middle finger just for a slight color under the glitter and 2 coats of white polish on the ring finger!

3. This was my first time using Essie hors d'oeuvres - I needed 3 coats of glitter (i do like mine solid) so i found it a little light but it is sooo pretty! Use on middle finger over the light grey 
4. Then i used a thin brush in my silver glitter nail art polish and painted 3 stripes across the ring finger over the white polish!

5. Paint the heart on the ring finger - this may be the hardest if you don't do nail art often but i found the easiest tutorial through the beauty department: thebeautydepartment.com/2012/02/i-heartchoo
