Five on Friday - May 17, 2024 Swatch Post ~ Wayne Goss The Luxury Eye Palette - Amber, Urban Decay Moondust Glitter Eyeshadow Palette - Space Rider, Lancome Eye and Face Palette Holiday 2023, Natasha Denona Pastel Plexi Glow Highlighter, and Natasha Denona Cranberry Eyeshadow Palette

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all had a good week - I've been computer-less enjoying a week at the cabin with all the family!

Since I'm away, I'm skipping a life update for my Five on Friday post (and will save my update for next Friday!) and instead I'm sharing and swatching 5 palettes/products that are older, but I just came in to them this year but just won't get to doing a full dedicated post for!

Wayne Goss The Luxury Eye Palette - Amber ~ $77.00 CAN. The Luxury Eye Palette in Amber features six essential eye shadows in matte, satin, and shimmer finishes you’ll reach for again and again. Infused with smooth-blend emollients and micronized pigments, Wayne’s custom eye shadow formula blends with the lightest touch—no special techniques needed.

This is a palette that I got in my Beautylish Lucky Bag - there is always a palette, and honestly I've never tried Wayne Goss beauty before. I do really like this palette's shades (but overall his palettes haven't called out to me before). Having said that, this is a god formula - I've used it quite a few times now and it applies good and it easy to use!

Shade 01 (top left) ~ Warm bone with a matte finish
Shade 02 (top middle) ~ Warm taupe brown with a matte finish
Shade 03 (top right) ~ Golden brown with a satin finish
Shade 04 (bottom left) ~ Coral pink with subtle gold glitter and a matte finish
Shade 05 (bottom middle) ~ Burnt brick red with a matte finish
Shade 06 (bottom right) ~ Sparkling rose pink with a shimmer finish

I do think this is a fairly expensive palette, but I do think it's good and the colour story is nice and warm, which I really like!

Urban Decay Moondust Glitter Eyeshadow Palette ~ $57.00 CAN. Our viral moondust collection goes super-charged a limited-edition palette: Space Rider. The palette features 4 wearable, glitter eyeshadow shades – including a mix of OG favorites (like Space Cowboy). Each shade features high-pigment color and a vibrant shimmery finish, lasting up to 16 hours. Create trending euphoric makeup looks with just a swipe! It’s time to sparkle with our buildable, caffeine-packed, velvety vegan eyeshadow formula. Or blend the glitter eye makeup with a brush for a diffused glow with radiant, long-lasting color payoff.

This was released later in 2023, but it was a pretty quick limited edition palette - I had never tried the moondust shadow, so it was a great way for me to try it out! The formula is fantastic - they are supper shimmery, gorgeous and long-wearing on the eyes! So good!

Star Cowgirl ~ Light champagne golden pearls with gold flecks
Space Cowboy ~ Light champagne golden pearls with gold flecks
Wild Dipper Rides Again ~ Soft rosey pink shimmer with silver flecks
Cosmic Space Dust ~ Light coffee brown shimmer with silver flecks

I do wish this palette stayed our a little longer so that I could have shared this - it is lovely and the shadows themselves are amazing!

Lancome Eye And Face Palette Holiday 2023 Limited Edition ~ $63.00 CAN. Beautiful Limited Edition Holiday Face Blush and Eye Makeup Set.

I don't think that I've tried a Lancome palette before - I might have, but this was gifted to me and it's really pretty. It does come with mostly satin shadows and I prefer some mattes to be in there too. I do like the formula overall - it's easy and just a go-to neutral palette!

Here is the palette swatched on me! There is no names or details on the shadows, but it's 10 shadows and one blush shade - most of the shadows are satins and shimmers and the blush has a pretty shimmery finish!

Natasha Denona Pastel Plexi Glow Highlighter ~ $59.00 CAN. Shine bright like a diamond when you apply Natasha Denona’s Pastel Plexi Glow Highlighter to your cheeks and eyes. This velvety highlighter features a wash of shimmering pink, golden champagne, and icy mint that melts seamlessly into your skin. The embossed 3D surface delivers flawless pickup on the brush while its gel-powder formula delivers a smooth and radiant finish. Choose one shade for an icy monochrome look or layer each color for a multicolored effect.

This was another product that I received in my Beautylish Lucky Bag - I would not ever spend $60 on a single highlighter for myself, but this is lovely, so I'm happy to have it! It is a multichrome formula and it's gorgeous and applies nicely and wears well on my skin without looking stark!

Here is a look at the Natasha Denona Pastel Plexi Glow Highlighter swatched on me - it's a pretty base shade and the shift is subtle so it's really wearable! So pretty!

Natasha Denona Cranberry Eyeshadow Palette ~ $71.00 CAN. Featuring 3 cream powder mattes, 1 sparkling cream, & 1 entrancing duo chrome, the Cranberry Palette brings a burst of striking berry, pink, & champagne shades to your festive holiday looks.

This is a gorgeous palette - I believe it came in a previous subscription and I picked it up. It does suggest it's a holiday palette and I can see that! It's a good holiday shade selection. But overall it's a pretty palette and I'm a big fan of the Natasha Denona eyeshadow formula and this palette is no exception!

Daisy 190CK ~ Sparkling Cream
Sakura 191CP ~ Creamy Powder
Botanic 192DC ~ Duo Chrome
Blossom 193CP ~ Creamy Powder
Nude 140CP ~ Creamy Powder

Here is the Cranberry palette swatched on me - it's a pretty shade selection and I'm liking this palette!

I hope you all have a great weekend!
