Manicure Monday - Christmas Reindeer Nails

Happy Mani Monday! Can you believe this is the last Monday before Christmas?! Whoa - this went so fast!

For my Christmas week manicure - I went with a little mixed Christmas themed nail art look, with Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer as the front and centre accent nail! 

The CBBxManiMonday group is doing Holiday nails for the whole month, so you can expect some magical Christmas nails from everyone! 

The polishes used for this week's Manicure are:

• Smackers Nail Polish in Wickedly Stylish
• OPI nail lacquer in A Kiss on the Chic
• OPI nail lacquer in Envy the Adventure
• Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Rock My Way 
• ORLY Instant Artist polish in Crisp White
• ORLY Instant Artist polish in Jet Black 
• ORLY Instant Artist polish in Silver

I also used a nail dotting tool and a nail art brush to help with the designs!

For all the nails, I started out with nail cleanser and base coat. Then, for the pinkie nail, I started with two coats of red polish for the base and added dots with green, white and silver in varying sizes. For the ring finger, I started out with two coats of white polish as the base coat. Then, with the red polish, I dotted on a big red nose, and with the black polish I dotted on two eyes. With the brown polish and a nail art brush I painted on the little antlers! Then for the middle finger, I again started with two coats of red polish as the base. With the white and silver nail art polishes, I added diagonal stripes for a candy cane effect. And, for the pointer finger, I started with two coats of green as the base polish. Using the white and red, I dotted on the shape of a candy cane, and add a little silver touch too! I finished everything with top coat!
