November 2016 - Monthly Favourites!

Wrapping up November with a look at the 5 products I have been loving this month!

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Eyeshadow Palette ~ $48.00. The limited-edition Eye Palette includes a Champagne Pop-inspired shade for the eyes, Champagne Toast—created by Jaclyn Hill. This versatile palette of lustrous and matte shades allows you to enhance the eyes with layers of light and color.

I don't even know if I should actually include this because it was discontinued! There was a lot of drama around this product when it was released in June and the concern was over the quality of the eyeshadow. I actually am really pleased with the quality of these shadows and I have reached for the palette for every eye look I have done in November! Cordial is the perfect pink purple brown transition shade, Champagne Toast is a stunning lid shade and Chardonnay is great for brow highlight and the inner corner! The other 2 are great outer corner shades and I just think the colours are perfect for this time of year!

Essence Cosmetics Silky Touch Blush in #20 Babydoll ~ $2.99. Soft as silk! The Silky Touch Blush has an ultra silky texture that blends evenly and easily. Add a touch of natural freshness and radiance to your complexion.

I tend to gravitate towards brighter, lighter pinks for my blush, but I was given this in a makeup swap and was excited to try it out as it is a deeper pink. It is beautiful! The shade is gorgeous and the texture is nice and light but still delivers a pigmented colour!

Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water ~ $13.00. For all women & men looking to reduce redness and soothe irritations and discomfort, while improving the quality of skin and reinforcing the skin's natural defences against external factors and prematured aging.

I love this mist - the nozzle actually delivers a fine mist of thermal water instead of a big spritz making it much more controlled than some other mists. I love how refreshing this is and that you only need a little bit for rehydrated skin! If you are interested in seeing my review on this mist, you can check it out here

Vichy Teint Ideal Fluid Foundation ~ $38.00. Formulated for normal to combination skin, this fluid foundation fuses with the skin thanks to its ultra-liquid water-based texture and offers light to medium coverage and a luminous satin finish.

Alright, Vichy is crushing it with newer products this month! I was thoroughly impressed with their new foundation line, especially this fluid foundation. I find it offers more medium/full coverage which I like, but it light and has a great satin finish on the skin! I can't reach for anything else right now!

Becca Backlight Priming Filter ~ $46.00. Backlight Priming Filter creates a canvas for your makeup, extending its wear from day to night. Infused with three unique Filtering Luminescent Pearls, each one adds a different drop of diffused light. Blended together, they impart a one-of-a-kind, lightweight, whipped fluid that creates a smooth canvas and acts as an instant filter, while the vitamin E-enriched formula minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I loved this after trying a sample of it, so I purchase a full size product during the VIB sale in November. I was going to post about my mini haul, but I couldn't even wait to dig in to this at all. It offers serious luminosity to the skin under foundation and gives you a gorgeous glow while working well as a primer. So good!
