March 2016 - Monthly Empties (with mini reviews)

Time to dive in and see what I used up in March:
March 2016 - Monthly Empties (with mini reviews)

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Makeup Removing Micelle Solution ~ $20 for 250ml. A cleansing and make-up removing water that respects the fragility of sensitive skin.

This has previously been reviewed and in my favorites of August - this stuff is amazing! My holy grail eye makeup remover! I seriously struggle to use anything else because this just works so well and is so gentle!!!
Repurchase: YES! (I already have back-up on hand)

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask ~ $30. An overnight, revitalizing gel mask that absorbs instantly and works while you sleep to deeply hydrate skin.

Another product that has been reviewed and was in my November favorites! This stuff is great - I use a lot of sleeping masks and found this has been one of the best on my skin! I love how moisturized and smooth my skin feels the next day!
Repurchase: Yes, again I have a back-up

Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover ~ 100 point item worth $2.37. A waterproof eye makeup remover suitable for contact lens wearers and those with sensitive eyes.

I don't believe that is suitable for sensitive eyes or contact lenses - this stuff hurt my eyes every time I used it! And I had to scrub with regular mascara to get it off, so I don't think it would have done great with waterproof!
Repurchase: No, this was terrible

Vichy ProEVEN Night - Overnight Concentrate Dark Spots & Uneven Skin Tone ~ $48. Vichy’s first concentrate to fights dark spots & uneven skin tone while you sleep. See more even, radiant skin.

I really liked this proveven night concentrate - it felt great on my skin. I do think my skintone looked improved and my skin looked good after using this. This also lasted a long time and was a big bottle.
Repurchase: Maybe (I don't have too many spots right now where I need this again...)

Ole Henriksen Nurture Me™ Cleansing Cloths: Makeup Removing ~ 10 wipes for $10.00. A package of luxe satin-spun cloths saturated with an ultragentle nourishing formula that blankets your skin with the softest, smoothest cleansing experience.

I received these in a boxing day set and thought they smelled great. In terms of makeup removing, they did not do a great job at. They did not remove my mascara and I just didn't think they performed well at all.
Repurchase: Nope

March 2016 - Monthly Empties (with mini reviews)

Softsoap Pomegranate & Mango Liquid Hand Soap ~ $4.00. Why not lift your spirits while helping to soften skin? Dainty moisture beads and natural pomegranate and mango extracts dance to the beat of a bright, happy scent.

This smells great - no complaints. Worked well.
Repurchase: Probably, I usually buy what is on sale!

CHI Infra Texture Dual Action Hair Spray ~ $13.00. CHI Infra Texture Dual Action Hair Spray is a fast-drying styling and finishing tool that provides instant smooth texture and incredible shine. It's superior for use with CHI flat or curling irons to create styles for lift, movement, texture and control. CHI Infra Texture Dual Action Hair Spray provides a variable hold and long-lasting styles, while helping in protecting the hair from moisture and humidity.

I don't use a ton of hairspray so this lasted a long time - I was happy with it. I thought the level of hold was great and it didn't get crunchy or gross in my hair.
Repurchase: Likely, I have another type to use up first!

Lush Yummy Mummy Shower Gel ~ $9.95. This super shimmery shower gel will have you turning heads (and noses!). Geranium oil, Brazilian orange oil and tonka absolute are expertly blended together to create one of our most intoxicating, yet delicate, fragrances: Yummy Mummy. Fruity, sweet and dashed with a hint of luster, this shower gel will leave skin unimaginably soft and smelling like scrumptious strawberries. It’s well deserving of its name!

I got this last year in a Mother's Day set and it smells awesome! One of my favorite scents - I actually used this for both a shower gel and a bubble bath! So good!
Repurchase: Hopefully someone will for me again this year for Mother's Day!

March 2016 - Monthly Empties (with mini reviews)

Farmacy Clear Day Mask Medley ~ $30.00. A set of supercharged solutions for stressed, tired skin, dark spots and freckles, and dry, tight, uncomfortable skin
  • Soothing kale extract offers a complex blend of minerals, antioxidants, vitamins and amino acids that helps rebalance vulnerable, stressed skin.
  • Brightening purple broccoli extract delivers powerful skin-clarifying action due to the varietal’s high level of antizymes, which possess antioxidant properties, and the benefits of chlorophyll, vitamins, and minerals.
  • Deeply moisturizing cucumber extract delivers high levels of vitamin C, which assists in reinforcing the skin’s natural barrier function and helps to maintain moisture levels.
I have reviewed these masks individually on previous Month in Mask posts and I can't rave about these masks enough! They are this amazing thin gel material that fit on to the skin so well and do not slip around like some other gel masks can. These work great, and I am pretty frugal with masks, but I would say for $10 a piece these are great "treat yourself" masks!
Repurchase: YES!

NUDE Skincare ProGenius Treatment Oil ~ 0.5 oz for $49. A daily age-defying omega face oil formulated with a precise blend of 10 natural plant oils to instantly smooth and hydrate skin. This product is vegan and formulated without PEGs, TEA, DEA, propylene, glycol, petrochemicals, synehetic color, synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, and silicones.
This came in a past Nina Garcia box and this lasted a long time - I only had to use a couple of drops and often mixed it in to other serums and night treatments. My skin felt great and I thought this worked well!
Repurchase: I would like to one day...

Ramosu Carestory Collagen Ampoule 200 ~ $36. Carestory 100% Pure Collagen Ampoule is made from fish scales without collagen’s unique smell, other than animal collagen that provides poor skin absorption due to its higher melting point than body temperature. As it has minimum-sized molecules, it provides superior skin absorption and leaves the skin soft, supple and elastic. RAMOSU contains the message of skin happiness for all those who desire to keep their own skin baby soft or get even more beautiful skin, using commonly-used familiar and mild skin-friendly ingredients that suit their skin types and gently acts on the skin.

I received this in a past Memebox and did not even know what an ampoule was or how to use it for a quite a long time after I received it! I did eventually figure it out and used this! I did think this worked well on my skin, but I have found a few other ampoules I like more!
Repurchase: No

Biore Nose Strip ~ box of 14 for $12. Instantly Remove Pore-Clogging Dirt, Oil And Blackheads Cleans Weeks Of Dirt Buildup In Just 10 Minutes Have An Innovative Slit Design For Improved Fit Contains 7 Face And 7 Nose Strips Hypo-Allergenic And Oil-Free.

I use these about once a month just to clear out any back heads on my nose. These work well, no complaints.
Repurchase: Most likely when I am done the box.

Skin Inc Custom-Blended Soothing Serum ~ full size $45. Features four different types of Ceramides, protected by patented seaweed capsules which release the ingredients only upon application to the skin. This Serum is designed to help strengthen your skin's protective barrier and soothe dehydrated and sensitized skin. Blend with up to two other Skin Inc customizable Serums to create a powerful multi-acting product, designed to treat your skin's unique needs.

This came in a Peach & Lily Seoulcialite box - I was disappointed when I received this because it was really on 2/3 full. I also found the stopper on this had you use a lot of product at 1 time. This was good and worked well but it didn't last long and I don't think it is worth the price tag.
Repurchase: No

March 2016 - Monthly Empties (with mini reviews)

Nothing but the Good Stuff Soap ~ $3.00.

This was a find when someone on a facebook auction was selling handmade soaps for $3. They were smaller sized bars but I bought a few to try them out - this was very gentle and was scent-free but worked well.
Repurchase: Maybe

Baviphat Peach All in One Peeling Gel ~ sample (full size is $15.99). A multi-functional skin treatment exfoliates dead skin cells, minimizes pore size and brightens complexion with a single application. Peeling gel is packed with vitamin C rich peach extracts to whiten and brighten skin.

I went to use this little sample one night (I bought 3 little types together on ebay) and was disappointed to see that it was all dried up and I couldn't use it!
Repurchase: It's hard to say because I didn't use it, but I would like another sample to try!

Julep Freedom Polymer Top Coat ~ $18.00. Quick-dry formula cures smudge-free under natural light in just five minutes; no UV light required. Perfecting polymer force field smoothes brush strokes and imperfections, leaving a high-gloss, gel-like finish.

I received this a while ago in a prize pack and it was ok - it wasn't my favorite top coat by far. I found that it tended to life the edges of my polish and was almost too shiny of a finish for my liking!
Repurchase: No

TONYMOLY - Mini Peach Lip Balm ~ $8.99. Sweet peach scented moisturizing lip balm. Peach-stimulates new cell growth and detox property provide hydrated skin.

I received this in a past Memebox and I love Tony Moly packaging - it is always some of the cutest. Now this was a good lip balm and it worked well but I'm not the biggest fan of potted lip balms - I will use them, but won't buy them.
Repurchase: No

Benefit Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer ~ sample 0.04oz for $2.81 (full size is 0.54 for $38). Take flawless into overtime! This instant PRO-long primer acts like a magnet to lock on your foundation for up to 15 fresh and flawless hours. The invisible stick-primer glides directly onto skin for optimal wear and a natural-looking finish.

I received this in a past Topbox and it was weird - I'm not a fan of using a stick and applying my primer that way. Maybe some people like it, but I did not like the application. The primer worked well if you get past the weird stick. Blah.
Repurchase: No

Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer "Smoothing Primer" ~ full size $19.00 - $43.00. A makeup primer that assists with balancing the skin's texture and tone for smoother, more even, and longer-lasting makeup wear. Smoothing Primer – For large pores and fine lines.

This made my favorites last month - I love how well this worked on my skin! I thought the texture was great without being to slimy or to lotion-y. This worked well for me!
Repurchase: Yes (luckily I have a back up!)

Too Cool For School Fresh Gore Sleeping Pack ~ sample (full size is $13.39). Offering a cream transfused with the secret Beauty of vampires! This sleeping pack works its magic while you sleep.

I bought a little sample set of these guys a while ago - these samples are good for 2-3 nights and the sleeping pack is great! It is a gel texture and works well.
Repurchase: Perhaps, will decide when I am done my samples!

March 2016 - Monthly Empties (with mini reviews)

Lush Sex Bomb Bath Bomb ~ $6.75. What’s in a name? When it comes to the Sex Bomb we take the moniker seriously. A must for any romantic bath, our world famous sphere of sex appeal contains all of Nature’s most potent and seductive ingredients to get you in the mood for a good… bath. Scintillating jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang are powerful aphrodisiacs that are known to relax you as they warm your heart, and other body parts too. Soya milk makes the water milky, softening your entire body as you enjoy a luxurious soak with our best-selling Bath Bomb. Consider yourself warned.

I love how cute this bath bomb is - with the little rose in the top! This worked well and smelled great. Made my bath a good medium pink color!
Repurchase: Likely..

March 2016 - Monthly Empties (with mini reviews)

Lush A French Kiss Bubble Bar ~ $8.95. There are a few ways one can French kiss. We like to keep it clean by French Kiss-ing in a luxurious bubble bath. (If you like it Dirty, we suggest you have a shower.) The fresh herbal fragrances of lavender, rosemary and thyme with essential oils from the hills of sun-soaked Provence go into our swirly love letter inspired by the warmth and beauty of the French countryside. It's even topped with a sprig of lavender. Lay back and relax into serene purple waters and soak up all of its relaxing benefits.

This was sooo good - probably one of my favorite Lush products ever. I love the scent of lavender and think it is the best to use in a nighttime bath! This was great - this wasn't the most bubbly bubble bar, but it was sort of inbetween a bubble bar and a bath bomb to me.
Repurchase: Yes!

March 2016 - Monthly Empties (with mini reviews)

Lush Pink Bath Bomb ~ $4.95. Inspired by the delightful Audrey Hepburn, Pink is sophisticated, sexy, elegant, and witty. Fragranced with edgy tonka bean, neroli, and the sweetness of vanilla absolute, it turns baths into candy-scented fantasies with a fragrance that lingers on your skin long after you’re out of the bath. It's sweet, but not overbearingly so, with a subtle bite of something cheeky. Spoil yourself; instead of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, have an indulgent bath with Pink.

How cute is this bath bomb?! With the little flowers on top it is perfect! And it smells sooo good - I love the vanilla/candy scent! Seriously, so good and one if the best priced bath bombs!
Repurchase: Yes

March 2016 - Monthly Empties (with mini reviews)

Lush Spring Bunny ~ $??. Hop into an energizing soak.

This little bunny soak was exclusive to a couple of sets in the Easter collection - so not for sale on the shelves. This smelled really great - very refreshing and turned my bath a bright yellow! (I used it on the Easter weekend for the occasion and really enjoyed it!)
Repurchase: Well, you can't buy him, so maybe next year

March 2016 - Monthly Empties (with mini reviews)

Lush Guardian of the Forest Bath Bomb ~ $7.50. See with eyes uncovered as you find the spirit of the forest, dappled with mossy greens and soft with the shimmer of luster. Prickly on the senses at first, the calming cypress and mystical oakmoss absolute will embrace you, drawing you into the bright, sunlit heart of this woodland bomb. It's packed with its very own forest protector: sustainably-sourced and seriously intoxicating rosewood oil.

This is quite a deep earthy scented bath bomb - it was blue and green and turned the bath a deep green! I liked the scent, but this probably isn't my favorite Lush bomb, just becasue the scent isn't what I normally go for!
Repurchase: Maybe...

Overall this month, I used 25 products - it felt like I used quite a bit less than last month (but I guess my 5 bath bombs this month helped me out!) I used up a lot of skincare products this month, but there was a pretty even mix of loves and misses!
