April 2016 Ipsy Glam Bag Review and Unboxing!

I am really excited to see sheet masks in here!

This looks like a good mix of products - here is a closer look at the goodies:
April 2016 Ipsy Glam Bag Review and Unboxing!

Like I said, I was happy with seeing sheet masks in my Ipsy bag! Pur~lisse has been in quite a few subscription bags, but I am usually happy with the products from them.

Pur~lisse Beauty Blue Lotus + White Tea Sheet Mask ~ $8.00. This natural fiber mask infused with Blue Lotus, White Tea and restorative Asian botanicals delivers antioxidants and minerals to your skin.  This power blend fights free radicals, improves skin texture while White Mulberry brightens and Anise helps firm skin, leaving complexion healthy, beautiful and youthful-looking.

These masks are made in Korea and do not contain alcohol so they will be very moisturizing on the skin! You can look forward a review on these soon!

REN Skincare Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream ~ sample size 30ml for $27.00 (full size is 50 ml for $45.00). REN’s #1 selling moisturizer. This calming and soothing anti-aging moisturizer repairs and hydrates even the most sensitive skin while protecting against everyday stressors like smoke and pollution. Skin is left baby soft and beautifully healthy. This moisturizer combats chronic discomfort, redness and sensitivity to ensure skin glows with renewed health and stays looking younger for longer. Achieve less sensitive skin in 21 days.

I'm surprised by what a good sample size this moisturizer is - I use lots of moisturizers and I have good things about REN Skincare. I am looking forward to trying this out!

Crown Brush - C427 Duo Fiber Blush Brush ~ $9.49. This brush multitasks as much as you do! Use with your fave foundation, blush, or highlight. Get glowing in just 2 steps! Using one side of the brush, apply blush to the apples of your cheeks. Flip the brush and use the other side to dust highlighter above your blush on cheekbones.

This brush is a little smaller than what I typically reach for in a blush brush, but I do like that it is versatile and is a duo fiber brush!

April 2016 Ipsy Glam Bag Review and Unboxing!

Starlooks Cream Eye Shadow in "Rose Gold" ~ approx. $12? Want to try metallics for spring? This iridescent rose gold hue is on point and the budge-proof formula stays put without creasing or smudging.

I actually could not find a cream eye shadow like this at all on the Starlooks website, so I'm guessing at the price by their potted cream shadows. I love eyeshadows but I do not like cream eyeshadows - I just don't use them as they are normally quite crease-y on me.

tarte cosmetics LipSurgence™ lip crème in "Wonder" ~ sample 0.05 oz for $14.50 (full size is 0.1 oz for $29.00). The lip crème de la crème – an ultra-moisturizing, full coverage lip crème providing a rich, creamy color veil with a luxurious texture.

Wonder is described as poppy red. I love seeing Tarte in my Ipsy bag, but I'm not super thrilled with the red colour - I'm not sure if I will keep this or pass it on.

Ipsy came with 6 products - although Ipsy counts the 2 masks as 1 product - (3 full sized), and a total value of $78.99. This is a huge value and I am really happy with that. This bag does have a good variety of products and I am happy with the majority of the products. I like the masks, day cream, and brush - I think I will pass on the cream shadow and lip gloss.

What did you think of the April Ipsy bag? What items did you get this month?
