Happy Manicure Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend - it's been so cold here, so we spent our weekend just prepping for Valentine's Day by baking cookies and making hot chocolate bombs to keep ourselves busy inside!

I'm not a traditional Valentine's Day lover, but I'm a total sucker for good Valentine's cards and funny quips! So, even though I don't love the lovey dovey part of the holiday, I do love some parts of it, and the jokes and puns are a big part of what I love!

Happy Manicure Monday! Did you all watch The Mandalorian when it started up again on Friday? I love the show and baby yoda sooo much, so I was so excited when it started up again!

Baby Yoda and Disney swooping in to save us as things get quieter again in this "second wave" that is going on! (Do you call him Baby Yoda or The Child? I know he's not baby yoda, but the child seems so stiff, and baby yoda is much cuter!)

April 2020 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

I set one of my 2020 goals to be actually sticking to my $100 a month Beauty Budget - last year I attempted this and didn't do so well, so I'm actually trying to be a little more strict on myself! I really want to make sure that I can use and enjoy the products I have in my collection and that I will really use the products I picked up! 

I always love my Monthly Haul posts to share with you everything I picked up (since I can't review everything I buy)! I also am trying to hold myself a little more accountable to buying products that I really want and will actually use!

Cheekbone Beauty ~ $36.96 CAN. I have been meaning to try Cheekbone Beauty for a while - I really like the owner's story, she's worked hard for this company and it is a Canadian brand owned by an indigenous women. They are working towards being a no-waste company and I think that's such a great mission! So, I picked up a new Sustain lipstick in Keyah - you can see it on me here! It's a really nice formula. 

Manicure Monday - Merry Kitschmas Nails!

Happy December everyone! Whooo, sorry for the couple day delay; but, I needed a little break after NaBloPoMo in November (yes, I managed a post every day for the whole month!) Plus, I have been a little sick; but, am on the mend!

Manicure Monday - Water Spotted Nails (Water Marble Technique With Alcohol)

I was really excited to try a new technique for this week's Manicure Monday - it's water marbling with spraying the water with an alcohol spray to create a spotted water nail look (yes, that's the best way I can describe it!) 

This week again, I am teaming up with Jayne from Cosmetic Proof and Trysh from Prairie Beauty Love - we always pick a theme together and put our own spin on it! It has been so fun as we all have very different styles and interpretations of our weekly theme!
