Spring 2020 FabFitFun - Lifestyle Subscription Unboxing

I restarted my FabFitFun subscription last Summer for an annual subscription and was excited to give the subscription another go when I started! I really liked my Summer box and the Fall and Winter boxes were okay. This Spring box is the last in my annual subscription before I decide if I'm renewing or not!

Spring 2020 FabFitFun - Lifestyle Subscription Unboxing
I purchased this subscription myself - this post contains affiliate links

FabFitFun is a quarterly lifestyle subscription box full of fabulous finds in beauty, wellness, fashion, and fitness - hand-picked by the FabFitFun team! Each box will contain $200 or more in retail value. Each season's box (ships out around the start of each season) is $49.99 US plus $8.00 US for shipping to Canada (or free shipping in the U.S. and $10.00 US shipping to the U.K.) Or, you can subscribe for an Annual Membership for $179.99 US (plus shipping costs).

Now, FabFitFun offers a few different customization choices each box; but, with an Annual Membership you get more customization options. I personally went with the Annual Membership as I was excited about the customization option myself, as I don't always love subscription boxes with too much variety with random products because I get annoyed when other boxes have products that I would have wanted and I got products I wouldn't use! Each month comes with a pretty box and a magazine explaining all the products in the box.

Here's a closer look at the products I received in my Spring 2020 box:

Spring 2020 FabFitFun - Lifestyle Subscription Unboxing

Elemis Peptide 4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil ~ $80.96 CAN. Hydrates, restores, replenishes. The skin follows natural circadian rhythms, creating waves of activity which trigger cells to perform important processes at specific times of the day, with repair and renewal being boosted during the night. Timing of these processes is vital for skin balance and health. ELEMIS Peptide 4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil blends perilla seed oil and ELEMIS' exclusive night scented stock oil, exceptionally rich in omega 3, vitamin E and antioxidants. Skin feels rebalanced and appears restored and replenished.

This was a selection between this product, a wrinkle and anti-aging light device, a ribbed sweater, a woven rug, a diamond tote, and a bowl set. This is a really highly reviewed product and I'm excited to try it - it sounds really great. I have quite a few night creams, so I will have to wait a little bit to try it!

Purlisse Watermelon Energizing 2 Minute Polishing Peel ~ $35.00 US. Resurfaces skin to brighten and improve complexion.

This was an item that FabFitFun selected for you between this peel, a rainbow lip balm, and a thermal spring water mist. I'm happy to try this out - I have been wanting to try some products from the Purlisse watermelon line. Again, this is a product that I have a few of, so this may take me a bit to try, but out of the items in the selection, I'm happy to get this.

This Works Deep Sleep Body Cocoo ~ $54.89 CAN. This Works Deep Sleep Body Cocoon, a restorative beauty sleep solution for an ultimate body treat.

This was another product that FabFitFun selected for you between this and a blue matcha restorative mask. I actually love the This Works products and have a little de-stress roller that I really enjoy using. I love a good calming product that helps you sleep and a night lotion sounds lovely!

Ciate London Fierce Flicks Precision Tip Liquid Eyeliner ~ $19.00 US. Become a liner pro with Ciate London’s Fierce Flicks felt liner. Formulated for intense, super-black color pay-off, dramatic wings and feline flicks are no match for this easy to use precision tip!

This packaging is a limited edition packaging that isn't available; but, it should still be the same formula as the regular Fierce Flicks. This was a selection item between this eyeliner, a leave-on conditioner, a hand wash, a body wash a wireless speaker and a salt and pepper mill. I always use a black liquid eyeliner so this seemed like a good pick - I haven't tried this formula before, so I will use this when I run out of the other formulas that I'm using.

Amber Sceats Double Coin Necklace ~ $50.00 US. Simple and sophisticated, this double coin necklace is delicately crafted with two gold plated coin pendants along a fine double layered chain. Elevate your everyday edit with this stunning piece.

This was a selection item between this necklace, a weighted sleep mask, a mask collection, and a vitamin c serum. I typically don't chose jewellery options in subscriptions, but this one was a pretty and I think I will get more use out of it than the other options that were there.

Spring 2020 FabFitFun - Lifestyle Subscription Unboxing

Stone Cold Fox Tea Towels ~ $38.00 US. These chic tea towels feature a white and blue striped design and are both absorbent and durable.

This was another selection item between these tea towels, a hair brush, a body oil and a daily hair repair. I think I've reached my subscription box saturation when I'm selecting $40 tea towels. Not that I won't use these, I just don't think this is a super exciting product.

Chic & Tonic Silicone Straws ~ $15.00 US. Whether you're drinking a whipped cream topped milkshake, green juice, or your favorite happy hour concoction, these colorful collapsible straws will brighten up your favorite beverages. This eco-friendly set comes with four straws, brush cleaner, and portable carrying case so you can clip them to your keys and be ready to sip delicious spirits on-the-go.

This was an item that FabFitFun randomly sent to you between the straws, mascara and a body buffer - I certainly would have preferred the mascara; but, this is an item that I will get use out of. I do like reusable straws and the little keychain thingy to bring them along is actually really neat.

Calpak 3-Piece Packing Cubes in Tutti Frutti ~ $40.00 US. Packing just got a lot easier thanks to these handy packing cubes.

These were a selection item between two colours of these packing cubes, a collagen serum, an umbrella, a tarte moisturizer, a tarte contour palette or a radiance booster. I actually picked these over some skincare because I do have a trip coming up soon that I will be travelling a carry-on only, so I thought these might help keep me organized within a small space!

Overall this FabFitFun box was okay - there are products that I will use and am excited about. The one good thing about this box is that even if a product isn't super exciting, I will use everything in this box, so nothing is a dud to me. Overall, my box had a value of $322.85.

The one thing about this month's box was that a lot of the selection items were from previous boxes and as much as you can call them "throwback" items, they are just old products that you are trying to get rid of and I don't really like that tactic. I did decide to cancel this subscription - not because it's bad or anything, but I just think maybe I've reached my limit with it (I've explained this before for other boxes too, and I've taken a couple year break from FabFitFun before too). Chances are I will try different subscriptions or just save my money to purchase products I really want instead of surprises!
