Manicure Monday - Easter Dinosaur Eggs Nails & Revlon Ultra HD Snap polish!

Happy Easter Monday everyone! Sorry, I'm getting this up a little late in the day - we were away distancing at the cabin for the weekend and it was such a nice relaxing getaway!

The OPI polishes were received as PR samples

We are all dinosaur geeks around here, my oldest son is 16 and still wants to be a palaeontologist and this weekend, my littlest one also asked if he could be one too! So, clearly we all love our dinosaurs, so isn't it perfect to find a few little dinosaurs in my Easter Eggs?!

For starters, I've been really excited to try the Revlon Ultra HD polishes - they are $6.99 CAN each and they are supposed to be a one coat polish and I have to say, I agree! I picked up the shade Get Real and thought it went on thin and I wasn't going to get an opaque coat, but this is one coat and it looks great!

For this week's manicure, the products that I used are:
  • Revlon Ultra HD Snap! polish in Get Real
  • Innisfree polish in #203 Woody
  • Smackers polish in "Wickedly Stylish"
  • OPI nail laquer in How Does Your Zen Garden Grow?
  • OPI nail lacquer in Envy the Adventure
  • White stamping polish (not pictured)
  • Moyra Top Coat for Nail Stamping
  • MoYou London Jurassic Park Stamping Plate 4

For these nails, I started with one coat of the base polish, then using the white stamping polish, I stamped on all the eggs. Then, with this plate, you need to layer the crack, eyes, dino, teeth, ect. so I just went one layer at a time. Then, using a stamping tool and the yellow and greens, I dotted on some dots all over the dino eggs! Then, I finished them with the Moyra top coat!

Make sure you check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love to see their nails - who knows what they will do this week!
