Wine + Mask Wednesday (Niagara Mist Raspberry Dragon Fruit White Shiraz and Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask)

Wednesday - time for Wine!!! And, a mask of course! My theme for this week is Rose/Rosé!

Here is my Wine of the Week:

Niagara Mist Raspberry Dragon Fruit White Shiraz ~ $69 for a Kit of 30 bottles = $2.30 per bottle. This blush style wine has been given some fire of excitement with the addition of sweet dragon fruit then gently splashed with tangy cool raspberries. Ignite the grill and sear some spicy shrimp skewers, or prepare some Thai green curry cuisine for a night of fire and ‘flare’.

We clearly made this kit for our wedding wine (hence our adorable labels!) and we had a little bit left over. I have never featured a Wine Kit before, but my husband makes these quite frequently! The wines are usually really good and work out to a really good price!

Here is a look at this wine:

I have never heard of a white shiraz before, but my interpretation is that it is pretty much a Rosé (hopefully, that's a good enough - remember I'm no wine expert, just a girl who likes her wine!) This wine is very sweet, you will have to like a sweet fruit wine to enjoy this. It almost tastes like a fruit juice, which to me makes it a very easy drinking wine! Yum!

And now, here is my Rose mask to pair with my Rosé wine:

Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask ~ full size is 60 ml for $131.93 (this sample is 10 ml for $21.98). Black Rose Cream Mask offers the skin "instant youth". Rich in active anti-aging ingredients (Black Rose, Padina pavonica, and Alkekengi calyx extracts), it immediately gets to work on signs of fatigue and leaves the skin looking youthful and energized. It brings together three actions to restore a luminous complexion and redensified skin in just 10 to 15 minutes: a smoothing and plumping action, a revitalizing action, a softening and hydrating action. Deliciously scented with rose, this soft, creamy mask creates a moment of relaxation and pleasure.

This mask sounds awesome, and I just got it in a swap so I am excited to try it!

This mask was actually a little harder for me to use as I wasn't entirely sure what stage of the skincare process I should use it at! So I washed my face and toned my skin and then applied my mask (like I would use most other masks at this time!). I left it on for 15 minutes and there was not much to wipe away as excess, so I just completed my skincare routine! This mask made my skin feel very smooth and soft! I love it! And, it would make a good night mask as well as it fully absorbed in to my skin!
