Wine + Mask Wednesday (Bogle Old Vine Zinfandel + Etude House Sunshine in a Spoon Raspberry Massage Scrub Yogurt)

Who forgets about Wine + Mask Wednesday?!?! Ahhh, you know it's been a weird week when you forget your favorite day of the week! I also apologize that I haven't posted much else this week - I am working on getting some posts asap!

So now my Wine + Mask Thursday is much needed!! My theme this week is "raspberries" - I know it's a little similar to last week's theme but I didn't have much planning time here, okay? Here is my Wine of the Week:

Bogle Old Vine Zinfandel ~ $15. Head-trained, dry farmed vines are prized for their production of small, concentrated clusters of grapes that produce incredibly rich and intense wines.  For years, Bogle has sought out these gnarled old vines to create our Old Vine Zinfandel.Vibrant, ripe notes of summer raspberry intoxicate the senses, enticing you to take a sip of this lively red zinfandel.  Once on the palate, plush and round flavors of pomegranates meld with fresh cracked peppercorn, juniper and anise.  Playful and serious at the same time, the mouth-coating tannins relax into a smooth and supple finish: long, lingering and full of enjoyment.

Here is a closer look at the wine:

This wine is really good! For a darker red (which I'm not usually the biggest fan of), this is quite light tasting. It starts with light berry flavors and then finishes a little heavy! We lightly chilled ours first to make it a little more patio friendly!!

Here is my Mask of the Week:

Etude House - Sunshine in a Spoon Yogurt Scrub Massage - Raspberry ~ $2.25 for 1 packet. This yogurt wash-off pack gently massages the skin with its peeling particles. The raspberry has an antioxidant effect that provides rich vitamins to achieve clear and soft skin.

This came in the Beauteque Mask Maven; however, as I was looking up how to use it, I found out it is really more of an exfoliant - I was okay with this as I haven't deep exfoliated for a little bit, I'm overdue!

Here is how I used this "mask":
1. Wash face
2. Apply product all over face

3. Using circular motions, for 2-3 minutes massage in to skin
4. Rinse off
5. Complete skincare routine

This was a nice & gentle exfoliator, but it certainly feels like it does the job! My skin was so smooth after - it was amazing! The formula was nice and smooth and did not feel harsh on the skin at all! I was really happy with this and would use it again!
